How much does a Minecraft server cost?
The price of a Minecraft server at ZAP Hosting depends on the maximum number of players and the RAM. The more players can play on the server and the more RAM is booked, the higher the price. At ZAP Hosting, you can rent a Minecraft server with 4 slots starting at 2.76€ per month. A maximum of 4 people can play on such a server and the server includes 2 GB of RAM. DDoS protection and FTP access are also included. Choose from a variety of payment options, including Paypal, credit card or bank transfer. You can choose between prepaid or contract options. A contract server automatically renews after the selected billing cycle, e.g. 30 days. The contract can be cancelled with just a few clicks via the web interface. Prepaid Minecraft servers automatically expire after the selected billing cycle and do not need to be cancelled and come with a small extra charge.
For an additional charge, the maximum players (slots) can be increased. The RAM is automatically increased when the number of slots is increased. Additionally you can add your own IP address, access to the DDoS manager and instead of a normal host system your server can be installed on a premium host system. With your own IP address you don’t share your IP address with other servers and you have to use a port provided by us and you also get access to the DDoS Manager, which gives you maximum control over DDoS protection. If a premium host system is selected, your MC server will be installed on a system where the average load of the entire system is limited to a maximum of 40% for optimal performance. This guarantees that your game server can always offer the best performance.
Add free Minecraft modded servers
On our standard Minecraft servers, Minecraft Vanilla is pre-installed in the latest version. But what is Minecraft without mods? Besides a vanilla Minecraft server, you can also rent Minecraft modded servers from us, on which mods or entire modpacks are already pre-installed. You can choose from several hundred different mod servers for Minecraft, including mod servers with Minecraft Spigot or Bukkit or servers with modpacks like RLCraft or modpacks from the Feed the Beast team pre-installed.
Thanks to the ZAP Hosting game server cloud, you can install additional Minecraft servers on game servers for free at any time and choose from our huge selection of different modpacks. The additional server will be installed next to your existing server. The maps and all data remain completely intact! You activate the server you want to play on and can switch back at any time. By default, your server has 10 GB of disk space, which you can expand to install more mods or additional game servers.
