How high is the usable traffic on the dedicated servers from ZAP-Hosting?

The dedicated servers have 5 TB of traffic included per month within the scope of our fair use conditions. For a payment of 9,99 EUR the traffic can be reset to 0.

i haven't received my server its been an hour and a half am i supposed to do something in order to recive it

Dedicated servers have to be in stock to be setup immediately. If a dedicated server is ordered that is not in inventory, the server will be built and added after the order is placed, which can take up to 5 days

Is it possible to order special storage layouts or to upgrade the hard disks of a dedicated server later? For example from 1x2TB to 2x2TB. This would be useful to have additional protection against data loss. If not, is this planned and when?

Currently, we offer variants with 1 and 2 SSDs for most dedicated servers, but upgrading is not possible at the moment.

Is it possible to order floating IPs to be able to migrate for example a virtual machine from one of its dedicated servers to another without having to change the IP?

Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment.

I can't find a certain server version (either only one 1TB hard disk, so not RAID1 capable, or two 500GB hard disks, so too little memory with RAID1, with desired CPU and RAM configuration). Can I still order these for a small set-up price and of course the higher monthly costs for e.g. another 1TB hard drive? If necessary, also prepaid for at least one year.

Currently, it is not yet possible to upgrade dedicated server systems. However, for almost all CPU/RAM combinations that have at least 1 1TB hard drive installed, there is a variant with 2 1TB hard drives. If a system is not in stock, it can still be ordered and will be assembled by us within a few. If a desired combination is not available, it is also possible to contact us via ticket to check if this combination can be added.

What happens if a hardware part e.g. Hdd or RAM of a Lifetime Dedicated Server from ZAP-Hosting is defective ? Do I have to pay for it myself? Is there in this case the possibility of an upgrade of the hardware?

Defective hardware will be replaced by us free of charge.

If I buy a lifetime server, can I add more IPs on a later date?

IP addresses can also be increased at a later time using the upgrade function. However, it is not possible to downgrade purchase servers.

Hello, I am interested in a Lifetime Dedicated Windows Server. I'm just wondering what the disadvantage of buying instead of renting is. I currently have a rented server which I am very happy with, but I need more performance in terms of CPU. Technically, there are no differences between the lifetime servers and the rental servers. However, in the event of prolonged inactivity (measured by calling up the server in the web interface), the server can be stopped and possibly blocked in accordance with our Terms.
