Don’t Starve Together: Hallowed Nights is back and “Cursed Confrontation Part 2” is here

🎃🕯️ Don't Starve Together: Hallowed Nights is back and "Cursed Confrontation Part 2" is here

Trick or treat in the Constant: two updates within a few days.

Klei has updated Don't Starve Together twice this week: on 22 October 2026, "Cursed Confrontation Part 2" concluded the "From Beyond" story arc, and on 26 October the seasonal Hallowed Nights event arrived along with a hotfix.

👻 Cursed Confrontation Part 2

• The Shadow quest line continues: new tasks after taking the Keystone to the Ancient Gateway.
• New creatures: early rare spawns such as Hound Batilisk and Rock Master with unique loot.
• New lore interactions: for example when reanimating the Odd Skeleton in the caves with the Possessed Atrium.
• Faster loading: travelling between the Forest and the Caves should be quicker.
• Available on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation; according to Klei, the Switch version follows after Nintendo certification.

🎃 Hallowed Nights 2026

• Enchantable Witch’s Broom.
• Leaf piles in the deciduous forests that you can sweep away to find goodies.
• Pumpkin Bombs during the event.
• Knockback reactions for most small creatures.
• Spooky costumes are available to everyone for a limited time; items from the Hallowed Nights and Costume Collections drop more often during the event.
• The 26 October hotfix gives the Pig King a chance to hand out Pumpkin Bombs and fixes, among other things, an issue with sweeping leaf piles and a problem running the game on Macs.
