Last weekend, Bohemia Interactive released the
standalone game Argo. Argo is based on the
Arma 3 mod Project Argo but can now be downloaded and played as a standalone game for free. An existing license for Arma 3 is not necessary to play Argo.
Argo is a
tactical MP shooter with 5v5 game modes, where players fight over the remains of a crashed space station and earn EP to upgrade characters (through weapons and equipment). In a 10-player cooperative mode, players must work together to overcome computer-controlled opponents.
The game comes with the
3D Scenario Editor, allowing players to create their own missions or modify the game modes.
Argo is available for free on Steam
here. However, those who want to support the developers can purchase a paid Argo Supporter's Pack.

Furthermore, Bohemia Interactive has released the map
Malden (known from Arma 1), used in Argo, as a
DLC for Arma 3, including the map and a cooperative mode borrowed from Argo.

Arma 3 players can install the new DLC as usual when renting an
Arma 3 server from ZAP. Until July 05, you can purchase
