Palworld isn’t all about simply catching pals breeding them or setting up your base. The game features some immensely powerful bosses that you must defeat in order to progress further in the game. There are six Tower Bosses that are located in each specific part of the map.
You are provided with 10 minutes with each of these bosses. Mind you they are not as easy as it may sound. If you are a beginner you need to be thoroughly prepared for it with the right pal and some weapons. Let’s see what we can do to defeat these bosses.

Zoe & Grizzbolt are the first bosses you will come across. You need to be prepared for each of these bosses with the right pal type armor and basic weapons.
Location: You will find the first boss pal at the Rayne Syndicate Tower. Its coordinates are 120,-423.
Health Points: 30550
Preparation: Before you can reach the location and challenge them for the fight you must have all the necessary gear and pals for the fight.
It's highly recommended that you be at least Level 12 or higher to have a good chance of defeating the boss. However many gamers have struggled to defeat the boss even at level 32 so it's all a matter of skill.
Considering that you have already set up your first base you will need to craft yourself armor and a basic weapon. Now at Level 12 you can grab the Pelt Armor and a Common Shield which should be enough for the first boss fight.
For weapons you can craft a three-shot bow and arrow that will give you good damage throughout. Other than this you can even craft a crossbow that also might give you an upper hand.
Choose the Right Pal: Each pal type has a weakness and since Grizzbolt is an electric pal his opponent should be a ground-type pal.
Now at an early stage in the game the best pals you can get against him would be the Alpha Gumoss (-113 -629) Fuddler or Dumud. These are some of the ground-type pals you can capture and fight with.
Now use your flying pals and get to the tower to begin the fight. It will take 10 minutes and the timer will run right on your screen.
There will be some cutscenes in the beginning and your fight begins after them. There are a few tips and tricks that you can use during the fight to ensure your victory.
As a beginner having the basic armor and weapons you will have to try and dodge all Grizzbolt’s attacks. You can use the pillar as your shield which seems to be the most useful.
Also Grizzbolt has different kinds of attacks such as the three-punch combo attack where he slams the floor three times. It is pretty fatal and if it hits you it can do serious damage. Another is the Laser Beam Attack which you can defend by simply taking the cover behind the pillars.
Here the boss might attack your pal as well in the process and to save it from the attack you can throw your sphere and call it back for a few seconds. Once the attack is finished send him back.
All you have to do is learn his attacks and keep hitting with your crossbow and arrows. It isn’t the easiest but surely easier than the other bosses coming next.
The next boss you will be coming across is Lily & Lyleen. Let’s check out everything you need to know and defeat this boss.
Location: You will find the second boss at the Free Pal Alliance Tower. Its coordinates are 185 28.
Health Points: 69375
Preparation: To prepare for this fight you must be at least Level 25 or higher in the tech tree.
You can then craft a Makeshift Gun for yourself that is super handy and deals heavy damage to the boss. Other than this you must have good armor to keep you warm since it's a very cold area.
You can craft Cold-Resistant Metal Armor from the tech tree to protect you from attacks along with a Metal Helmet and Mega Shield for more protection.
Choose the Right Pal: So Lyleen is a grass-type pal and to tackle it you will need fire-type pals.
The best ones you can capture are Ragnahawk Blazehowl etc. These can be found by collecting massive Scorching eggs from the volcanic areas. There is also Vanwyrm that can be found easily on the map.
However there is also Jormuntide Ignis (from eggs) which is the most powerful but it isn’t easy to find. So keep an eye out for it as well.
Let’s see how we can actually defeat the boss and its tamer. Hopefully you have grabbed all the necessary armor powerful pals and definitely the gun with a lot of bullets.
Yet again this fight will also last 10 minutes. If you lose you will be kicked out of the tower and have to start again. Here are some tips you can follow.
As compared to the first boss you can keep dodging the attacks and hide behind the pillar. But there are a few powerful attacks from Lyleen that pass through the pillar as well. So be aware.
Lyleen has multiple attack ranges. The most dangerous ones are the Water moves which look like bubbles and track you around. She has another water move as well where she throws a massive bubble at you or your pal. That is not all. She even has a ground attack that might trap you in the spines. Along with this there is a tornado attack which is equally dangerous.
Try firing the gun directly over Lyleen’s head or directly to Lily for maximum damage.
The higher level you are you can upgrade your pals and yourself as well to get better weapons and inflict more damage.
The third tower boss in the game is Axel & Orserk. The higher you move the more difficult it gets to defeat these bosses. Orserk is highly powerful so buckle up this ride is going to be very bumpy.
Location: You will find the third boss at the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre Tower. The coordinates are -587 -520.
Health Points: 130700
Preparation: For this fight you should be at least Level 36 or above.
Here you can unlock and craft a Shotgun or a Single-shot Rifle. For protection you can get any metal armor along with Giga Shield.
Choose the Right Pal: Berserk is an Electric and Dragon-type pal. Your best bet here would be to go with Ground and Ice-type pals.
Now there are a few pals that will be perfect for this fight. Firstly you should definitely catch the Alpha Anubis (-133 -96) which is at Level 47 and can do some serious damage. Other than this you can also capture Digtoise which has some great attacks too.
Next you need an ice pal and the best one would be Reptyro Cryst or Ice Reptyro. You can easily breed it in your breeding farm by combining Reptyro + Foxcicle.
As mentioned earlier Orserk is a very strong pal and has a variety of attacks or moves that are highly devastating if you are under it.
You will have 10 minutes to beat the duo and it is going to be nasty. But with the right pals you have a chance to defeat them in your first fight.
Here are the attacks that Orserk might throw at you and all you can do to tackle it.
Orserk has a signature move where he throws a lightning bolt at you which gives a lot of damage. You can hide behind the pillars to dodge it but sometimes it does pass through it as well. So you simply have to keep moving to be safe.
He also throws a Lightning beam that tracks you as you move. The only way to avoid it is by moving away from it but there is a high chance some of it will hit you. Similarly there is another electric attack that is like an explosion over a wide area. Before the attack you can see a red circle which makes it easier to dodge it and we would recommend calling your pal back as well.
Now he is also a dragon-type pal. So he will throw a cannon at you that can be easily avoided by timely jumping away from it. He also has dragon’s breath and poison rain that can be easily outpaced.
Remember to target the pal tamer Axel on top of Orserk as he takes more damage and can be defeated faster.
Do not go too close to the boss as you can be easily attacked. The best way is to heavily rely on your pals to do the job.
The fourth boss you will be fighting with is Marcus & Faleris. This is an exceptionally difficult challenge to concur so don’t be hesitant if it takes you a few extra takes to complete the challenge.
Location: The fourth boss is at the Tower of the PIDF which is in the desert region. The coordinates are 554 336.
Health Points: 146975
Preparation: For this fight you should be at least Level 45 or above. As you already know this is one of the toughest battles there is. So you need to be quick armored up and have the strongest and leveled-up pals with you.
For armor make sure to pick up Heat-Resistant armor a Refined Metal Helmet and a Hyper shield. This should be enough to protect you.
Speaking of the weapons you can unlock the Assault Rifle once you reach Level 45. Take any other weapon such as a Shotgun for close encounters and as backup.
Other than this you can also take with you a Galeclaw to be able to quickly move around and dodge maximum attacks.
Choose the Right Pal: This is a fire-type pal that also gives out electric attacks as well. So you would need a water-type pal that would make their attacks weaker.
The best for this would be the Alpha Jormuntide (Water) that can be found and captured from these coordinates -176 -267. It will not be an easy fight but you can take any electric pal with you and it might do the job.
Other pals you can take with you are Azurobe Broncherry Aqua and Suzaku Aqua as well since they are Level 3 pals and can help you with the fight.
To defeat this deadline duo you need to learn about their attacks and what you need to do to defend yourself from them.
Faleris has some basic fire attacks but the most damage it gives is through the Fire Tornados. He seems to be moving forward along with the attack as well. So you need to take the pillar as a shield and stay away from him.
This is a flying pal so your strategy needs to be a lot different from the other boss fight. Try keeping a distance from Faleris as it uses its Fire Breath that can burn you quickly and does a lot of damage.
Another deadly attack would be the Fireball which can kill you or your pal. So you need to hide behind the pillar at the very last moment to dodge the most of it. Some other fire attacks include explosions inside a small red circle that you can easily jump out of.
Next he also has some electric attacks that can be very challenging for your water pals to deal with. Here you need to make to switch between your other pals and give them ample time to cool down
Instead of bringing all the water pals with you you can also bring flying pals who could help you move around quickly. Otherwise Jormuntide and your weapons are enough for this.
The fifth boss would be Victor & Shadowbeak. This was the final boss tower and one of the hardest to beat before the Sakurijima update came through. But it is not impossible. Let’s check out everything you need to know.
Location: The fifth boss is at the Tower of the PAL Genetic Research Institute which is in the Snowy Area. The coordinates are -148,447.
Health Points: 200750
Preparation: For this fight you should be at least Level 50 or above. It might take you a while to reach this level but it's worth it.
Once you reach this level you can unlock the Cold Resistant Pal Metal Armor which is needed to protect you from freezing to death. You will also need the Pal Metal Helm and Hyper Shield along with this.
Now the best weapon you can unlock is the Rocket Launcher with a ton of rockets. This is the primary weapon that will work on the Shadowbeak. You can also keep an Assault Rifle as an alternative but it will not do much damage.
Also in this fight you will most definitely need to keep food for yourself and your pals. For example you can prepare Eikthyrdeer Loco Moco which helps increase attack by 20% and Herb-Roasted Lamball for defense.
Choose the Right Pal: The most important part is choosing the right pal for this fight. Since Shadowbeak is a dark-type pal the only way to defend and attack is by using the dragon-type pals.
The best of the best in this category will be Jetragon. You can catch him at the volcanic sites. Now it's better to get more than one of these so that you have enough to finish the fight.
Don’t forget to add Jormuntide Ignis to your team as well since it is a dragon-type pal as well and can do a lot of damage. Other alternatives are Astegon and you can even add another Shadowbeak to the team and let them fight each other.
Now the moment of truth. The fight is going to be very difficult and it is most likely to take multiple rounds before you can defeat them. Let’s learn some of the moves.
Shadowbeak has two types of beam attacks and both are very deadly. If you take the full force of these it will definitely break your shield and armor. The only way to avoid it is by waiting till the last moment to dodge it and keep rolling sideways.
He has another deadly attack: he charges at you with full force and leaves behind balls of light. These balls will then fire at you after a few seconds. It's best to wait for him to attack and then move away from these balls.
One of its signature moves being a dark pal is the Ice attack. The pal will literally freeze you and it's 100% fatal if you are in it. Similarly he has another ice attack that we can call an Ice blast. He summons a ball of ice on his head and fires it at you or your pal. Even if you are caught in the mist it can be deadly.
That is not all. There are a lot more such attacks that can be very difficult to avoid and your pals might get caught into it. Hence make sure you have enough powerful pals to deal with Shadowbeak.
The Final boss of Palworld is Saya & Selyne. This was recently added to the Sakurijima Island and is the most powerful and intense boss to beat.
Location: The fifth boss is at the Moonflower Tower. The coordinates are -598209.
Health Points: 261000
Preparation: For this fight you should be at least Level 55 or above. Here you will need some of the best armor shields and weapons you can unlock.
You must get the new Ultra Shield as well as the Plasteel Armor for maximum protection. Plasteell can be obtained by collecting crude oil which you can farm in your base or collect from the Oil Rid recently added to the game.
For weapon you might already have the Rocket Launcher but you can upgrade it further to a Legendary Rocket Launcher. There is a small percent chance that Jetragon drops it once you hunt and kill them. So keep looking. Or the next best would be Assault Rifle.
Choosing the Right Pal: Again having the best pals will only help you win this battle. This new boss is weak to a Dragon-type pal. So you can absolutely get Jetragon which is super powerful against these dark-type pals. Other than this consider getting a Jormuntide Ignis with Dragon-type attacks as their Active skills.
Also you can get a Chillet. Now you must breed other pals that have Vanguard and Stronghold Strategist as their passive skills and pass them on to the chillet.
Let’s check out how you can defeat the most powerful pal and tamer duo.
One of the deadliest attacks Selyne might throw at you is the Comet Attack where she throws a meteorite and it bursts into multiple shockwaves. To defend this you can simply step away from the marked area on the ground before she attacks.
She also throws a massive moonlight beam that can be easily detected and dodged. Before attacking she jumps in the air and the crescent moon lights up. This is your cue to get away from that area.
There are multiple other attacks as well such as Power Bombs Blade attacks and more. All of these can be managed if you simply move around in a circle around the pillars and keep hitting them with your rocket launcher.
Apart from the Tower Bosses there are around 45 such Alpha pals that are much stronger and have higher HP than the regular pals found all over the map.
You can follow the table below which lists all the Alpha pals available in Palworld their exact locations and the fastest travel point to reach each area.
Now the low-level pals can be caught very easily earlier in the game such as Level 11 Chillet or even Level 23 Katress; however as you move further ahead it gets a bit difficult to capture them.
Make you have good pals to catch these high-level Alpha pals. For example to capture Jormuntide (Water) Anubis might just do the job for you.
Also make sure you have crafted enough Mega Sphere or Giga Spheres with you. You will also need Legendary Spheres as well for other high-level pals on this list.
Don’t overdo it while trying to capture these pals as you do not want to kill them. Call back your pals at the right time and throw your spheres to capture them at their lowest HP.
