Mobs

Armadillo:

Every time a new Minecraft update drops, a new mob usually joins the game. During Minecraft's Mob Vote, the Armadillo managed to pull ahead and thus it has secured its spot as the latest addition to the Minecraft Universe!

The Armadillo

The Armadillo mostly spawns in the Savannah biome and is a very cute mob :D. It also drops a special scute, which can be used for crafting the new item and can also be used in crafting Wolf Armor!

The Breeze:

The Breeze is a floating hostile mob, which spawns in the new Trial Chambers structure. It attacks at a range by firing wind charges and they drop breeze rods, which can be crafted into wind charges.

They are similar to the blaze mob, perhaps the breeze is a lost cousin of the blaze mob? Breezes are immune to damage from projectiles (arrows, tridents, etc) and they are able to repel them back to the player :(

The Bogged:

The Bogged is a new variant of the skeleton, which could spawn in the Trial Chambers and the Swamp Biome. It is an undead hostile mob that shoots poisoned arrows. We have found another cousin of the stray :D The bogged are much slower to reload their bows than normal skeleton!

New Blocks

Copper Bulbs:

Every Minecraft update, the game world gets a fresh splash of color and creativity with new blocks to build, craft, and explore with. The copper bulbs are a new light-emitting block. It can be toggled on or off when it receives a redstone connection. The light level is dependent on the state of its oxidation.

Below you can compare the two states of the Copper Bulb blocks, based on inactive and powered on by redstone.

Copper Bulb - State Comparison

Crafter Block:

The Crafter is a block that crafts items when receiving a redstone signal. To craft an item, the crafting items should be arranged in the grid the same way you would craft the desired item on the crafting table.

The Crafter can be connected by Pistons & Hoppers, this block could be really useful to huge automated farms!

Crafter Block
The menu for the crafter is similar to the usual crafting table, but it provides the option to disable certain slots to prevent potential resource stacking and incorrect resources entering.

Copper Door:

The Copper door is a type of door made out of copper that can be opened and closed by a player without a redstone signal. Similarly to the copper bulbs, it can be found in 4 variants that are Unoxidized, Exposed, Weathered, and Oxidized. The doors can be waxed using a Honeycomb to prevent corrosion.

The Copper door naturally generates in the Trial Chamber and they are also affected by the wind charge causing them to open & close.

Copper Trapdoor:

The Cooper trapdoor is almost identical to the door in properties and variants, apart from being in the trapdoor format. It also naturally generates within the Trial Chamber and has 4 variants.

Copper Trapdoors

Tuff Blocks:

The Tuff block, introduced in the 1.17 update, is about to receive a major expansion in the next update. Prepare to enhance your builds with new variants including Tuff Bricks, slabs, walls, and more. These new bricks can be found in the Trial Chambers along with its new variants.

New Structures

The Trial Chambers has just landed into the Universe of Minecraft, an awesome new dungeon where players can put their skills to the test and score some awesome rewards!

This structure is filled with traps, trial spawners and much more! It is an underground structure which mainly consists of Copper Blocks and Tuff Bricks. The new Breeze mob is also found in this structure.

One of the core parts of this structure are Trials, where the player can earn awesome rewards for battleing enemies in different waves. There is also the Trial Omen, which causes the trial spawners to become ominous, making the waves more difficult and providing higher rewards.

The Mace:

A Mace is a melee weapon that deals more damage when a player falls when hitting an entity. It requires a Heavy core which can only be obtained from an ominous vault, and a breeze rod which can be dropped by a breeze.

This weapon can be enchanted with most of the existing enchantments, alongside three new exchantments that can be added to the mace. These are: Density, Breach, and Wind Burst.

Heavy Core & Breeze Rods:

The Heavy Core is a new resource that can only be obtained from ominious vaults after completing Ominious Trials. There are also Breeze Rods which are dropped by killing the new Breeze mob.

Ominious Trial Rewards

New Potions:

The latest update to Minecraft introduces four new potions: the Wind Charged potion, Infested Potion, Weaving Potion, and Oozing Potion.

Additionally, a new Omen effect gaining system has been implemented. Under this system, upon defeating the Pillager Boss (Leader), players receive a Bad/Raid Omen potion instead of directly acquiring the effect.

Wind Charged Effect:

The Wind Charged effect makes entities release a burst of wind when they die. It can also be fired as a projectile from an ominous trial spawner. The Boss mobs & Breezes are immune to it.

Infested Effect:

The Infested effect makes silverfish appear on something, and it can also be shot from an ominous trial spawner. The quantity and chance of silverfish spawning are unaffected by the potency level of the potion. The Boss mobs & Silverfishes are immune to it.

Weaving Effect:

The Weaving effect makes cobwebs appear when something dies, and it can also be shot from an ominous trial spawner. Between two to three cobwebs may appear within a 7x7x7 cube, centered on the affected entity. These cobwebs will only spawn on top of solid blocks with full top faces. Notably, cobwebs cannot form on top of other cobwebs. Once again, Boss mobs, cave spiders and spiders are immune to Weaving.

Oozing Effect:

Oozing causes any entities that have the effect to spawn two in a 5x5x5 area around the entity upon its death, both of size 2. The potency level of the potion has no effect on the number or size of the slimes spawned. Boss mobs and slimes are immune to Oozing.

Smithing Templates:

Smithing templates are a new way of enchancing the looks of your armour through customisation and unique designs, providing a much needed change to the old and basic regular look of armour pieces.

These templates can be found scattered across a wide range of naturally generated structures throughout the minecraft world, and are consumables meaning they can only be used once.
