Minecraft: News from the E3
Arguably the biggest one is that Minecraft will enable cross-platform play with the Better Together Update:
Regardless of whether you're playing Minecraft on an Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Windows 10 PC, iOS or Android phones, or a Virtual Reality device, you'll be able to play with other players on the same servers. Unfortunately, PS4 players won't be able to play with players from other systems for the time being.
Another functionality that will be implemented with the Better Together Update is a Server Browser in the Minecraft Start menu. At launch, 4 official servers will be displayed in the browser, which players can log into directly.
