The WW2 shooter Post Scriptum from Periscope Games starts today into open beta. The official release was, after the public playtests of the last weeks, postponed to August 9th 2018 to give the game the final polish.

During the Open Beta all buyers of the game have full access to the game, which will receive the latest updates and bugfixes until the official release.

At the same time as the Open Beta, ZAP-Hosting.com as official partner of Periscope Games will also activate the servers for Post Scriptum. Pre-ordered servers from Post Scriptum will be put online during the evening, and Servers for the beta can be ordered directly.

Post Scriptum is a total conversion of Squad. Squad's engine is used to create a realistic tactical shooter in World War II. Huge maps, big battles, tank battles, house-to-house battles, all meticulously modeled on reality and the players right in the middle of it.

The Public Playtest starts tomorrow, Saturday 26.05., at 8:00 AM GMT. Then everyone who pre-ordered the game can take part in massive WW2 battles over the weekend. Tonight (Friday 25.05., 7:00 PM GMT) Periscope Games will make a developer live stream where the developers will show the maps, game mechanics, tank systems, rules and more.

In the past time there have been (loss) problems with our Linux vServers.
The reason for this is the unstable new virtualization cluster of OpenVZ (OpenVZ 7).

For this reason we have been working for several months on the implementation of our new Linux VPS virtualization cluster based on LXC.

The new cluster is now available for all new Linux vServer orders.
Newly ordered vServers are set up directly there (prelaunch)!
In the next week we will implement a system for migrating existing servers, in which all existing Linux vServers are migrated to the new cluster. More information will follow.
All customers, who have currently are renting a Linux vServer, will automatically receive 10€ ZAP credit.

The new DLC Tanks for Arma 3 has been released this week. The paid DLC contains the new mini-campaign "Altis Requiem", in which the player slips into the role of a tank commander of the AAF and plays the classic campaign "The East Wind" from the opposite perspective and commands the newly introduced tanks.

Along the campaign 3 new tanks will be integrated into the game:
T-140 Angara: A modern main battle tank of Russian design equipped with a 125 mm cannon and a 12.7 mm and 7.62 mm machine gun.
