FFM / Eygelshoven, GER + 0 % We operate our European main data center in Eygelshoven (the Netherlands, right on the German border near Aachen), with our own infrastructure, our own network, and our own on-site office. The Tier III data center features redundant power and fiber feeds.
Hardware:
Our vServers, gameservers, and TeamSpeak servers run by default on Dual AMD EPYC 7763 processors (128 cores / 256 threads, up to 2 TB RAM per server) with 100 Gbit/s network connectivity per system. Eygelshoven is also the only one of our locations with a triple-replicated NVMe Ceph storage cluster.

Our servers are protected by PletX, with a filtering capacity of up to 4 Tbit/s.

Uses of our servers
With so many options to choose from, making a decision can be difficult. Below is some information to help you make the right choice.
Use cases VPS
If you rent a VPS from ZAP-Hosting you always get full administration access. Therefore, any programs and modifications can be installed on the servers and the VPS can be conveniently managed via various graphical administration interfaces. All VPS work in powerful Raid 10 NAS systems with SSD, which guarantee high performance and reliability, while an intelligent load balancing system ensures that our Linux VPS based on LXC always receive sufficient resources and are not affected by VPS of other customers. Our Windows and FreeBSD VPS, on the other hand, share virtually no resources and always receive full performance. In addition, each VPS receives a DDoS Protection Manager, and can be used for virtually any server usage, from Minecraft servers and other game servers to Teamspeak servers to Plesk servers for web space.
Use cases root server
If you need guaranteed maximum performance on your server, you should choose a root server. ZAP-Hosting gives you full administration rights for all servers. It is completely up to our customers for what purposes they use their rented servers. In contrast to VPS, for rootservers all resources are permanently allocated to the rented server, no resources are shared with other users and therefore the full performance of the system is always available. All root server customers who rent servers receive high-quality and powerful hardware with Intel CPUs and SSDs that are integrated into a Raid 10 NAS system, thus guaranteeing high performance and reliability. You can choose between Linux, Windows and FreeBSD servers as the operating system for our servers, which can be conveniently managed via clear GUIs. Our root servers can be used for any purpose – for websites, shops, blogs, game servers, Teamspeak, as email servers or for multiple purposes.
Use cases game server
With our cloud game servers it has never been easier to host games yourself. Choose the game you want, the slots you need and thanks to our fully automated setup, the game is ready to play in minutes. The highlight: If you rent a server, you can switch between the different games for free at any time, only your selected number of slots is adjusted to the price of the new game (if you switch to a game with a higher slot price, you get fewer slots and vice versa). With ZAP-Hosting, you can choose from a huge selection of over 40 games, including MineCraft, Arma 2 and Arma 3, Ark Survival: Evolved, the Farm Simulators 2015 and 2017, and 7 Days to Die. We also offer a selection of popular mods for a variety of our games, most notably MineCraft with over 100 mods, but of course also DayZ and Epoch Mods for Arma. You don’t have to worry about the version number either. All Steam games are automatically checked for updates every 5 minutes, which can be installed immediately with a click of the mouse, and thanks to standard DDoS protection, you don’t have to worry about attacks.
