Requirements
Additional software is required to connect to the game server for this game. FiveM requires that you use their official Client. In order to download the client visit the official Website of FiveM (Cfx.re).
The FiveM.exe file will be downloaded. Execute the application afterwards. Once the application has loaded, Windows Explorer will open and you will need to select the directory where the GTA5 game and the GTA5.exe file are installed on your computer.

Obtain server details
You will require all the relevant information necessary to connect to your server. The information about your server can be found in the dashboard of your game server administration. Important information includes the following:
- IP address and port
- Server name

Establish server connection
The connection to a game server can often be established in one or more ways. The options and methods available and how to use them are explained in detail below.

To connect to your server via the in game server browser, open the server browser in the main menu by pressing on the Play option. Click on the search field and specify the name of your game server. Click on the server you have found and then click on the Connect button in the server view.
To connect to your server via console, open the console with the F8 key. Once the console is open, execute the following command:
connect IP:Port
Potential issues and solutions
The establishment of the connection does not work as expected? This may happen in certain situations, when the connection fails due to technical issues. We have listed the most common issues and their solutions below:
Not visible
A lack of visibility of the server can occur if the initialization was not completed successfully for some reason. This may for example be due to a faulty configuration or corrupted files. Further information can usually be traced in the server console or log files. Apart from this, it should be ensured that no incorrect filter settings are used in the server list, which would ensure that the server is not displayed.
