One Hour One Life is an indie survival game with an innovative gameplay: The player starts as a newborn with a maximum lifespan of 1 hour. If the player dies, he slips into a new character, who also starts as a baby. The trick: The game world is persistent and through cooperation players can form communities that can become more complex as the game progresses.

One Hour One Life is less about the survival of the individual, but about the survival of the community. In the short lifetime of one hour it is up to the players to create by cooperation the prerequisites to survive with the next character as long as possible and to continue to support a growing population and developing economy. Newborn babies need to be cared for, fields tended, tools made and buildings erected to further develop the community.

In One Hour One Life every character is played by a real player. Although it can be played alone with the goal of surviving as long as possible, the biggest attraction of the game is building something within the community that can endure on a server.
