The important thing to get the 20€ in ZAP Coins is that they are unique attacks that you send to us. In case of multiple videos with the same attack over the same platform, only the one who sends the 1st video will receive 20€ ZAP Coins.

Here are the rules again: From 17:00 you will receive the server IP to attack via our livestream on Twitch. It must be apparent what kind of attack is being run, including time and our server address to ensure it is not a copy.. To receive the voucher, the attack must be unique. Send the evidence video to Raz either through our social media channels or email address raz@zap-hosting.com.

Major outage 17.01.2021 Main location "Frankfurt -> Eygelshoven" several hours down In the 10.5 year history of ZAP-Hosting, the largest network outage of the main location "Frankfurt am Main -> Eygelshoven" occurred on Sunday, 17.01.2021. We will inform you about the background and causes in the following. At the end of the blog entry you will find a 10 € ZAP credit compensation voucher.   British Telecom down between Eygelshoven and Frankfurt, redundancy via Amsterdasm failed Currently, all German ZAP hosting networks are announced and routed in the Interxion data center in Frankfurt am Main via Combahton. This is also where the extremely powerful DDoS filtering, optimized for game servers, takes place. Combahton then pushes the "clean traffic" over a British Telecom line to Eygelshoven, NL, where most of our servers (incl. website etc.) are located.

DDoS Protection EnhancementsEven more protection for TeamSpeak serversWe have fully activated the DDoS protection for all Teamspeak servers this week. Previously, all servers were in sensor mode, which meant that the protection was fully activated when an attack was registered. During this activation, lag or disconnects may occur.

We have now fully activated the protection for all TS servers, because we managed to eliminate the disadvantages of a fully activated protection with the help of Combahton. From now on you can enjoy the full DDoS protection on all TS servers at our locations in Germany, Dallas and Finland without any disadvantages!
