Conan Exiles: The Frozen North On August 16, 2017, Funcom launched the 2nd Early Access phase of their survival game Conan Exiles with the free expansion The Frozen North. The update introduces a plethora of new features, improvements, and changes, leading Funcom to refer to it as a new and distinct game compared to the version Conan Exiles initially launched with. Simultaneously, Conan Exiles is also being released on Xbox One.

This week, Bohemia Interactive announced that they are working on a new DLC for Arma 3 called Laws of War. This paid DLC primarily introduces a new campaign featuring the organization IDAP, a humanitarian aid organization, where players take on the role of a mine disposal expert in the campaign. Assets from the campaign will also be usable in the multiplayer part of the game. Alongside the IDAP organization, this includes new IDAP vans, drones, a mine dispenser, and clothing options (such as safety vests or press helmets).

In addition to the DLC, there will also be a comprehensive Arma 3 update that will be free and introduce many new features related to the DLC. This includes cluster explosions, unexploded ordnance, air-dropped leaflet propaganda, 2 new showcase scenarios, emergency medical service items, and generally items of significance for humanitarian organizations, among ...

The survival game Ark: Survival Evolved received new patches with version numbers 263.0 and 262.0 earlier this week.

There are no major new features this week; the folks at Studio Wildcard have mainly focused on a whole series of bug fixes.

However, these patch notes also provided a glimpse into the near future of Ark: Survival Evolved. In addition to boss fights, DirectX12 support for Windows 10 is expected in the near future, promising up to 20% more performance! There are rumors that this DX12 mode may be ready by the official release of the game on 08/08/2017.
