During our first livestream “DDoS our FiveM Server”, we put our new PletX DDoS Protection to the ultimate test – facing up to 1.2 Tbit/s of attack traffic. The FiveM server stayed online for over 90 % of the time – an excellent result for this first round! 🚀
Key findings from the test:
• Some customers launched internal attacks from ZAP VPS and dedicated servers – a fix will be rolled out this week.
• PletX temporarily hit capacity limits due to a router issue – an additional 400 Gbit/s uplink and a new router are on the way within 2–3 weeks.
• The ZAP website experienced record traffic but went down briefly due to a rate limit between PletX and Cloudflare – this has already been fixed!
