Battalion 1944 is a multiplayer shooter, located in World War II, which has set out to revive the game’s principle of classic WW 2 Shooters like the original Call of Duty or Medal of Honor. The game is supposed to be a modern shooter that feels like an old-school classic. This also includes the lack of a level system that allows other current games to come along as grind heavy.

Battalion 1944 is first and foremost a competitive shooter. The goal is to win matches with your team in 5v5 matches and each player’s action can give your team a pros and cons that will affect victory or defeat. In addition to the competitive game mode, in which 2 teams of 5 players each compete against each other, there are additional game modes for in between: Team Deathmatch, Domination and Capture the Flag, as well as the possibility to play competitive matchmaking or unranked games, or to select games on a dedicated server directly via browser.
